"Worth the Investment over Lite Version"

What do you like best about BrokerPRO?

I had used the Lite version for all of my TMS needs- Load creation, tracking, reporting Etc. The problem was it was attached to my desktop computer- there wasn't an easy way to access it when working from home, which I did a lot.

We upgraded to BrokerPro and all of that changed- I was now able to access my loads, create new loads and add carriers all from home and even my phone

What do you dislike about BrokerPRO?

The interface could be a little busy but after "playing with it" I was able to get a handle of how to properly use the program/

Recommendations to others considering BrokerPRO:

BrokerPro, I feel provides a better experience than other TMS software. I had used McCloed and it was also only on my desktop- leaving my without the tools needed to do after hours work. The feature to access anywhere is enough of a reason to switch.

What problems is BrokerPRO solving and how is that benefiting you?

BrokerPro allowed me the ability to book freight from my phone and while working remotely. I distinctly remember while traveling and a carrier called needing a pick up number. I was able to pull it right up on my phone and provided the info the driver needed to get loaded.

What do you like best about BrokerPRO?

They have an excellent sales team who will lead you to believe that this system will meet your needs, and if it doesn't, give them a couple of months to make the necessary changes so it does. Once you sign on and start asking about those functions that were promised as "coming soon". You will find out that those functions dropped to the bottom of their list because they are just not that important. Unless you would like to spend $1000s of dollars on technical support. If you want to spend the money, they will drop their other projects and get right on yours.

What do you dislike about BrokerPRO?

The cost factor associated with all of the downtime we have experienced. Whether it is their servers not performing, unannounced changes that completely alter your SOP, or they don't know why that's happening, but it couldn't possibly be a fault in their system. It must be a user error, despite this being a process used daily for months that suddenly stops working.

Recommendations to others considering BrokerPRO:

As I said throughout my review, they have a very good sales process. But if there is functionality you need that they don't have, be prepared to pay through the nose to get it. Unless their IT department feels like it. But they will just as easily feel like that function is not useful later on and remove it.

What problems is BrokerPRO solving and how is that benefiting you?

BrokerPro has generated more issues than it has resolved. What started out as a very promising product has exponentially gone downhill since we started using it. The system itself has become less useful, the technical support just wants to point fingers at anything but the system, or provide a workaround to band-aid over a problem that they have no intention of fixing. Their customer service really only cares if you are spending money with them. Small companies like ours that can't afford $1000s to keep a system functioning get pushed aside.
