i love how easy it is to use Kasm. Open browser. Log in and in 2 more clicks, I have an app or desktop ready to use.

For now, the variety of workspaces that are available is a little limiting but I know they are working on adding more.

Kasm helps me perform my work virtually in a space that is isolated from my corporate system. It also gives me access to tools I need while on the go. I can use a tablet and, in seconds, I can be using a linux desktop workspace and do everything I need to.

1. The ability to provide on-demand Linux Desktop environments from any browser.

In troubleshooting Web Development issues, I'm normally on a Windows 10 PC, so being able to start up an on-demand Linux Desktop allows me to handle things in a Linux environment without having to use a VPS or dedicated Linux install. And thanks to the optional persistence, when I start up the Desktop, I can choose if I want it to be a clean install or pick up where I left off.

2. Configurability

Out-of-the-box, it's completely functional and requires no configuration. But there's so much that you CAN tweak and configure to your needs.

3. Responsiveness of Support

I've contacted Kasm Support for a couple install and management issues, and they are extremely responsive and helpful. In fact, I had a feature suggestion, and it was included in the succeeding release!

1. Scope of available applications.

I'd love to see them increase their library of available "Kasms" to include additional applications. They have done a nice job in expanding the available applications within the Deluxe Desktop Kasm, but I'd love to see additional "isolated" applications, if feasible. I can understand that this takes time.

2. Custom Kasm development

I haven't dug into this yet, but it appears that you need extensive knowledge of Docker to be able to create custom Kasms. Their documentation on this seems sparse, but it may be my inexperience.

Having the ability to spin up an isolated browser or a full Linux Desktop helps me to troubleshoot and address Web development issues from a source outside my home or office. This helps me to validate issues that otherwise might be difficult in a local environment.

Has a clean and user-friendly interface

Can Can handle a large number ofdents and classes effectively

Provides support for different file formats and multimedia materials.

Offers a variety of customization options to fit different needs.

Has a built-in analytics tools to track student performance and progress

Additional training may be needed to utilize all its features fully

Some features may be limited compared to other education management software

Technical support may not be readily available

Allows me to use more of features and it gets way more stable unlike some company where them updating the software causing other issues with thing but with company it doesn't happen

Blazing quick within instance spin-up of your most common apps and environments. Cannot beat it for testing and real-time WFA sessions.

We have not found anything we do like at this time

The speed on how fast we can spin up a session in multiple apps and platforms cannot be beaten - it offers a secure cloud environment resolving loads of issues using any other container-based solution.

Easy to install, quick to deploy. Addressing real-world needs

While the documentation is extensive, I would like a knowledge base with a more straightforward setup/configure path for entry users.

The world is now global, every company has Remote Workers, and it's hard to ship them equipment. Kasm helps maintain the security of corporate data. At the same time, ensuring that users can be onboarded quickly.

As someone who has been using Kasm Workspaces for a couple of months, I can confidently say that it has exceeded my expectations. Their "Container Streaming Platform" has proven to be an essential tool for my work as a software engineer, mainly since I primarily use a Chromebook.

One of the standout features for me has been their enterprise-class orchestration. It ensures that the delivery of containerized workloads is seamless and efficient, which has been a major asset in my day-to-day work.

Another aspect of Kasm Workspaces I appreciate is the data loss prevention feature. It gives me peace of mind knowing that my sensitive data is protected and it's a valuable addition to the platform.

One thing I wish was a bit different is the free tier. While I understand that the platform needs to make money, I do feel that the free tier could be a bit less restrictive.

That being said, I understand that the free tier is meant to give users a taste of what the platform has to offer, and it has definitely been useful in helping me determine if the paid version would be a good fit for my needs.

Nonetheless, my experience with Kasm Workspaces has been overwhelmingly positive. I would highly recommend it to any business or organization looking for a reliable and secure platform for streaming containerized apps and desktops.

One of the main problems it solves is the efficient delivery of containerized workloads. With the enterprise-class orchestration feature, I can easily stream apps and desktops to my browser or mobile device, which has been a significant time-saver.

My company does security and development work for large banks, fintech companies, payment processors and merchants. Using Kasm workspaces we can exceed our client's security requirements and expectations. With a great user experience for the folks in my company using Kasm workspaces as the primary means to get their work done.

Fast and simple to create and use the tools I need.

In my version that is free I can use just two sessions. (But it's ok for a free version)

My problem is to have a safe and apart environment to access suspicious sites an investigate malicious actors.

Kasm is just quite amazing. I haven't seen any other software stream a docker container to your browser! I am just blown away at how amazing Kasm is. You can create your own images, virtually customize every aspect about Kasm and more. Kasm really helps me malware test, click on suspicious links without putting my PC in jeopardy.
